Please... Only $5 or $10 dollars?
Would You Help With Only $5 or $10??
If Each Person Would... It Will Be Enough!!!!
One hundred and three acres of enchanting land, along with the dreams of one beautifully selfless woman, and so very many people who count on this ranch, are at stake. The Gloraloma Ranch, an iconic equestrian facility located in Colorado, is at severe risk due to untimely circumstances. The working ranch is the result of the vision of Linda Owens, owner and operator, who truly breathes life into this magnificent place. It has been home to some of the most exquisite horses one has ever seen. From distinctive Arabian horses to the American Saddlebred, the Quarter Horse and the Paint, from Generic to Miniature to Draft Horse, the Gloraloma Ranch welcomes each and every breed, treating them all with love and style.
Thousands of people have already enjoyed the family style services Gloraloma provides. People have often exclaimed that being part of the ranch has "changed their lives by giving them, their families and their children identities, a true sense of accomplishment, and camaraderie". At horse shows Gloraloma Ranch people are known for being thoroughly respected for their support, enthusiasm, and positive attitude. The ranch is a home to horses and humans and has also been host to major equestrian events.
Linda has made sure that pure love designed each and every inch of the Gloraloma Ranch. She built it entirely from scratch without a single penny to her name in 1965. It is the mission of this letter, through these words, that it be fully protected.
Linda Owens is truly a woman of selfless nature. Over the years she has taken in numerous homeless strangers, young and old, and respected them all as family. At one time she was raising as many as twelve teenagers as a foster mother and asked for nothing in return but their love and respect. Not once did she ever ask for assistance from the government or the childrens' parents. It is unknown exactly how many people this God loving woman has raised and who still to this day call her Mom.
The Rocky Mountain News, as well as the local television stations, had a story at Christmas of 2004 on how Linda and her son, Anthio, went to Wal-Mart and secretly selected people throughout the store and purchased their Christmas gifts or donated monies to them to help pay for their Christmas. At other times, she actually borrowed money for different people who were about to lose their own homes, and simply GAVE it to them. She has asked for absolutely nothing in return, not even to pay back the loans, only their happiness and well being. This is just how loving and kind hearted this lady truly is.
In February 2007 Linda was hospitalized for nearly a month with pneumonia. She was in a coma with a mere 10 to 20% chance of living. When the hospital found that she had no health insurance they released her within only a few days of regaining consciousness from her coma. The day Linda returned home, she had to be rushed back to the hospital. The hospital treated her briefly, then sent her back home again for lack of health insurance. To this day she is still struggling to recover from the illness. She is on oxygen frequently and is unable to receive much of the medical treatment she needs. She is known by many as the horse sculptor, Lowen, selling her beautiful creations on Ebay. See and Buy them Here! Artist LOWEN! Sculptures
Due to Linda's health concerns along with the other unfortunate circumstances, this American landmark ranch has been given a financial ultimatum. Quickly manage to acquire the money to pay the mortgage, through whatever means possible, or hand the ranch's entire ownership over to someone who bears zero attachment and who has no idea of the history held within those walls. This would leave Linda homeless, and in debt.
Now Gloraloma Ranch is in desperate need of your assistance. We implore you, with all that is pure and wholesome; please help contribute to this cause. Any contribution, no matter how small or large, will help save this beautiful, long standing institution. Please help keep the magic alive!
